I was able to talk a couple of friends into doing it with me. This is my friend Rhonda. She beat me of course, but I was still glad to have a friend to do it with.

Swim, Bike RUN!!!!
I felt compelled to enter yet another race and registered for the Peachtree City Triathlon. It sort of kept me on the straight and narrow during the summer (physically speaking). I wasn't in the best shape ever, and it was a pretty brutal race but there is NOTHING IN THE WORLD like crossing the finish line!

I will remember this day!
This baptism was responsible for totally wiping me out emotionally and causing me to get completely dehydrated. Only because I cried and cried through the whole thing. I could barely get through saying the closing prayer. This was all Melissa's fault of course! One of my good friends, Melissa Coe, and her daughter Abby joined our church. Melissa is truly inspiring and probably knows more about the church than I do! She also has an amazing story and testimony. I was honored to be part of the night. As soon as I got to the church and saw her in her white dress we hugged and both broke down. She had avoided me for a while for that very reason! Months ago she had come through the temple open house with me and at the end she said to me "You don't know what you have!" (and we cried) And then she bore her testimony to me of Jesus Christ. In that moment I knew that I probably did take for granted all of the blessings that come from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I kind of knew that she was on the path to realizing those blessings as well. I hadn't seen Melissa for most of the summer so when a mutual friend informed me that she had taken the discussions and was going to get baptized, my heart leapt! I was so excited for their family.
Abby, Melissa, Kenzie and Ken. Such an awesome family!
I SEE YOU ELDER HINKLEY! The Coe family with the sister missionaries who taught them.

My life will never be the same!
First Day of School for all FOUR of our kids! I can hardly believe it. Tathan entered middle school, Mettea and Liam are still in Elementary together and Mettea chose not to wear her wig anymore. Such a brave girl. Kaia goes to a Pre-K school with 140 other 4 year olds! How fun is that!
First day...tear! (From Mom, not Kaia!)
Really? She is this old already?

Denver Visit
We went and visited Andy, Mylee, Hadlee, Grandma and Grandpa Aland. They were staying at the Ronald McDonald House while Mylee is in the hospital down the road. This place was insane! I will always donate my change now that I have seen how this place takes care of families during such a stressful and difficult time. From now on, when you drive through McDonalds, DROP YOUR CHANGE!
Liam and Tathan LOVE to play pool
YEE-HAW!
Mettea and Kaia figuring out how to play air-hockey.
Awesome train ride around the park in Denver. This was not a 2 second ride that was TOTALLY over-priced at all!
Playing in a stream in Denver
Blaine, Tirsa, Bella, Ez and Cali came and joined us.
